Why Do the Topics of Paranormal Attract the Attention of Audience Easily?

Do you know that some people can view and sense things beyond their senses? Some people have the ability to sense what kind of trouble may come to them. Some people can foresee things before they actually happen. All these are not scientific because the scientific community was not able to detect them under experimental conditions. But still people like these topics so much they turn to them again and again.

The reason for that could be that our expectations are more than what we may actually do with those paranormal abilities. That is when we have those abilities. We naturally think about many possibilities to do many things which seemed to be impossible or tough without these abilities. For example, the ability to see atleast two minutes into the future will make us think about gambling wherein knowing the outcome that we may get we can choose to either play not play. But ofcourse there are arguments about paradox which make people conclude that one cannot possess such abilities.

Some theories like consistency theory allow these abilities to exit provided they do not create any paradox. The ability to see two minutes into the future is depicted well in the film ‘Next’.

No matter how much one wants to learn about the paranormal abilities, one finally ends up without any conclusive evidence neither supporting nor opposing them. This makes people speculate the credibility of reports and they still think that there might be some cases. While these abilities my not be proved under experimental conditions repeatedly they still exist for some people. As it cannot be repeated it is not scientifically proven. But they still exist only if you do not want to test. That is the reason why these topics continue to attract the attention of many people again and again. These are not scientific but are definitely realistic.
